A Unique Summer Opportunity: Teach Conversational English in China this Summer
|
Nawa has a long history of providing educational opportunities while
traveling in foreign countries. This summer, Nawa has again been
invited to send students to China to teach conversational English to
Chinese students. Nawa took advantage of an invitation three years
ago, sending five high school students and one chaperone to the
Chinese Hong Kong English School (CHES) for three weeks. Since that
point, we have expanded this program and continue to receive
invitations from CHES to return each summer. CHES is well respected
and provides an excellent intercultural experience for American
students. Nawa staff act as chaperones and students reside in private
school dormitories also supervised by their faculty. Please note that
a semester of credit is offered through our Global Cultures and Travel
elective course.
